  • The build quality might be a concern for heavy, workstation-like use.

The laptops are designed with very sturdy plastics and it is not likely to melt under normal working conditions, even if you render animation for 90 hours or more.

There are three types of plastics used in most laptops and these are ABS, PC and PP.

  • Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS): This is a common plastic used in laptop bodies and has a melting point of around 105°C (221°F).
  • Polycarbonate (PC): This is another common plastic used in laptops, particularly for the screen bezel and keyboard. It has a higher melting point than ABS, around 150°C (302°F).
