Aerial Rendering of residential building / Cut-out section
Aerial rendering technique was needed for The Le Miro project. A refurbishment of an old 4-floor residential building located not far from one of the ports in Palma. Due to the tricky location of the building and the requirement for visualization, we had to reconstruct 70% of the photo in 3D.
Most of the buildings and background environment had to be digitally improved and blurred out.
Location: Palma de Mallorca
Fifteen aerial drone photos were taken, and out of those, two were selected for concept rendering. The idea to combine drone imagery with the cutout section of the floorplan demonstrating the refurbished apartment worked out well.
In addition to the renderings we had to provide some concept diagrams demonstrating different floors and indicating their type.

We were able to showcase even the terrace section by rearranging it to the side of the building.
All furniture and decors were indicative without substantial detail as part of the scope for this project.
Dashed lines and text information indicates to each part of the apartment and its purpose.

Due to the weather at the time of the drone flight, photos did not turn out be look great—that required heavy post-production before and after the rendering, including the nearby garden had to be redone entirely with green grass to look less distracting.
